Event: Reduced Blood Analysis

Dates:

February 5th and February 19th

Information:

12 Hour Fasting is necessary for accurate results for most blood analysis. Blood analysis results will be faxed to your doctor free of charge. If you would like to receive a copy of your results, please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope or you may also purchase a stamped envelope for the cost of postage.

Walk ins are welcome on planned Reduced Blood Analysis days. Call to schedule appointments outside of this.

Event: Red Cross Shelter Training

Dates:

March 13 at 4:30 at the Doddridge County Park

Information:

Join us for an essential sheltering training session hosted by The Red Cross
in partnership with the Doddridge County Health Department. This training
is designed to equip volunteers and community members with the skills and
knowledge needed to effectively manage and operate emergency shelters during
times of crisis. By attending, you’ll gain valuable skills to help your community, be prepared to respond effectively in times of need, and connect with like-minded individuals dedicated to making a difference. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to build a stronger, more resilient community!

Event: Drug and Alcohol Screenings

Dates:

Monday – Friday 8 am to 4 pm (excluding holidays and office closure due to emergencies and inclement weather)

Information:

We will be offering DOT, NON-DOT, Random, Hair, and Alcohol Rapid Test with Breathalyzer Confirmation. We also have 6 panel and 12 panel Rapid Results Instant Cup.  Contact the office if there is an emergency need to see if we can meet you onsite or conduct testing outside of normal office hours.

Event: Family Planning Clinics 2025

Dates:

Tuesday, February 18th beginning at 8 am (last check in 9:30am)

Tuesday, March 4th beginning at 12:30 pm (last check in 2pm)

Tuesday, April 8th beginning at 8 am (last check in 9:30am)

Event: Red Cross Shelter Training

Thursday, March 13 from 4:30 pm to 6:30pm

Doddridge County Park

Information:

Do you help with a shelter maintained by your church? Are you interested in volunteering to staff a shelter during an emergency? Doddridge County Health Department and the Office of Emergency Management are hosting Red Cross Training at the Doddridge County Park. All are welcome, the training is free. Please call to let us know you will be attending, 304-873-1531.

Event: Community Health Fair “Health for All Ages”

Saturday April 26 from 7am to 12pm

Where:

Doddridge County Park

Information:

Come out for a day of fellowship and learn about who is in  the area to help you be the healthiest you, you can be! Joining us is WVU Home Health Agency, Health Access, WVU Extension, FRN and many more. We will have the ability to do Reduced Blood Analysis. We will also offer FREE Blood Pressure Screenings. Concessions is being offered bye Doddridge County CEOS.
